What's inside

The set starts with the four Hogwarts house crests — Gryffindor's lion, Slytherin's serpent, Ravenclaw's eagle and Hufflepuff's badger — each drawn as a standalone page so a kid can take the one that matches their house. Around them: the golden snitch with its wings spread, a snowy owl mid-flight with a letter, a wand resting on an open spellbook, a shelf of potion bottles, the Sorting Hat, the train platform sign, and the castle silhouette across the lake.

Difficulty varies by design. The crests and the snitch use thick closed outlines that work for younger colourers; the castle and the potion shelf carry more small shapes for older kids and adults.

Who it's for

Roughly ages 8 and up — this is a fandom set, not a preschool one. The sweet spot is kids who have read the books or watched the films and want to colour the objects they recognise: house colours, the snitch, the castle at night. Grown-up fans use the crest pages for wall art and the castle page for a slower, detailed session.

Teachers and librarians use the crest pages for house-team activities and the Sorting Hat page as a writing prompt: colour it, then write which house you would be sorted into and why.

Printing tips

Pages are square 1:1 and print full-bleed on A4 or US Letter. Print at 100% rather than "fit to page" so the line weight stays even across the set.

Crayons are fine for the crests. For the castle and the potion bottles, coloured pencils hold the small shapes better than markers, and markers will bleed through plain paper — use card stock if that is what you have.

For house-colour pages, print a few copies: one to colour in canon colours, one to invent a fifth house.

FAQ

Are these free? Yes — every page prints and downloads free, no account needed.

Can I use them for a birthday party or classroom? Yes, print as many as you need for your own home, class or party. Reselling the files or re-uploading them elsewhere is not allowed.

Are these official? No. These are unofficial fan-made line drawings. We are not affiliated with the films, the books or their rights holders.

Do the pages have colour or shading? No — pure black outlines on white. That is what keeps them printable and leaves room for your own palette.

Can adults use them? Yes. The castle, the potion shelf and the crests are drawn with enough detail to be worth an evening, not five minutes.
